After years of diving into my books, I discovered one part of my dream that was missing was helping others tell the stories in their hearts. It helped grow my own passion for writing, and educating myself in the worlds of BDSM, polyamory, and mental health only helped fuel that passion.
After graduating with my Bachelor’s degree in English with a Minor in Creative Writing in 2017, I continued with an accelerated degree program and received my Masters of Science in Publishing in 2018. I worked a few jobs to help ends meet as I worked towards my dream, including a year at the wonderful Strand Bookstore in New York City, followed by an incredible sexual wellness shop called Shag in Brooklyn. I found a fire in my heart for educating writers on how to craft stories that both entertain and inform in a world that is surrounded by misleading media of the BDSM and kink communities, as well as the polyamorous community. So I built a business around serving those communities in the world of literature!
Throughout my editorial career, I’ve volunteered with and acted as the Chapter Development Vice Chair for the Editorial Freelancer’s Association, ghostwrote romance novels for Romance at a Glance, and worked as an acquisitions editor for Scarsdale Publishing for the LBGTQ+ imprint, Flame.
I’ve bounced around the United States, and I recently moved to the Chicagoland area with my polycule and fur babies. Now I get to read books filled with spicy romance and educate authors on how to show their readers what playing safely looks like, and I’ve never been happier.
